Al-Hamra Integrated School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will facilitate their growth and development through various activities and lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children.
  • Promote the social and emotional development of each child, encouraging positive interactions and building self-esteem.
  • Provide a variety of learning experiences, including play, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities.
  • Assess the individual needs of each child and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor and record children’s progress and development, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to early childhood education.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent certification).
  • Prior experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the school.
